Cacti are dynamic, living beings, just like people.
You won’t know if a cacti likes your garden or fertiliser until they try it. San Pedro may grow differently when they’re moved into your garden.
You shouldn’t post a person, and you shouldn’t post a cacti either. It is better for cacti health to be delivered or picked up directly. Once adopted, your cacti is your responsibility. In the right conditions cacti will thrive on neglect, but we cannot be liable for cacti that are not in our care.
If you want to learn more about caring for San Pedro, we recommend the free online book Trichocereus Culture, authored by Patrick Noll, with editing and additional contributions by Dr Liam Engel. If you want to learn the basics about San Pedro, check out our San Pedro Appreciation Guide.
Depending where you are, preparing mescaline cacti for consumption is likely illegal. Growing mescaline cacti can be illegal too. Be mindful of which laws apply to you.
